Jay Corcoran is a documentary filmmaker. His work has been broadcast on PBS Independent Lens, NHK and CBC. He has had screenings at the Museum of Modern Art, Lincoln Center, Guggenheim Museum, Boston's Museum of Fine Arts, The Kitchen, and at over 100 national and international film festivals and has made critic’s choice lists in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Weekly, Boston Globe, New York Magazine and many other publications.

He is a recipient of the New York State Artists Grant Award, a resident at Millay Colony for the Arts, and was an actor/playwright for 12 years in New York City.

He is currently producing an online documentary about the job search process for Columbia Business School MBAs and about MBAs and entrepreneurship in Africa.

His latest documentary, Rock Bottom, which follows six New York City gay men over a two-year period in various stages of addiction and recovery from crystal methamphetamine will be broadcast on here! networks later this year.
