Yian Huang is a photographer from Singapore. He is pursuing a dual masters in journalism and international affairs at Columbia University. Through his reporting, he hopes to communicate the horror of the conflict he covered in Israel and the Palestinian Territories, and at the same time, the hope that he saw.

Yian is a reformed management consultant and army officer, and a long time ago he ran the Ironman triathlon, although he was beaten by a one-legged man.
