Colombian-born Veronica Zaragovia majored in political science and concentrated in art history as an undergraduate at Columbia University.

Two weeks after her 2004 graduation, she flew to Israel where she spent eight months and interned at the Center for Peace of Shimon Peres. After returning to the U.S., Veronica wrote for the Tribune Co.'s Jewish Journal in South Florida and expects to get her M.S. in new media journalism from Columbia University in May 2008.

Veronica speaks Spanish, French and Hebrew fluently and blames her coffee addiction on her mother, who used to pour coffee in her baby bottle. Contact her at vzaragovia (at) gmail.com.
