Elsa Butler has worked as a reporter in France, South Africa, New Zealand, Brazil and California covering breaking news, travel, sailing, lifestyles, music and theater.

She graduated from Colorado College in 1998 where she was an English and creative writing major. She currently works part-time for the Bryant Park Project, NPR's new morning talk radio show.

Elsa is interested in the convergence of words, images and audio to educate an audience. The opportunity to create a multimedia conversation that engages the next generation of news consumers excites her.

Elsa's favorite pastime is training her Australian Shepherd, Addie, to herd sheep and ducks.
