Channtal Fleischfresser interns for WNBC.com in addition to her journalism studies. In the fall of 2007 she reported on Corona, Queens, which is the subject of her blog, Junction Blvd.

Before coming to Columbia, she worked for the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in European history.
