Katya Soldak is a multimedia editor for the Image issue of NYC24. Orignally from Kharkov, Ukraine, she has worked for CBS News Productions and other NYC production companies that make documentaries for the History Channel, Discovery Channel and PBS.

Before moving to the U.S. in 2000, she wrote for local newspapers and produced shows for a Kharkov TV channel. Recently, she produced a multimedia website on the music industry.

She holds a M.A. in English, Russian and literature.
