Johan Svenson is the executive chef at Riingo, the new Japanese American Restaurant. Riingo was opened six weeks ago by Marcus Samuelson and Hakan Swahn.Samuelson co-owns Aquavit Restaurant.

Born in Sweden, Svensson made his way to an executive chef position after having worked as a line cook in Asian American restaurants in New York City. Svensson is responsible for the food preparation and services at Riingo.
