The
pictures on the right were taken by Ben Sugerman, a fourth
year graduate student at Columbia University. Like many astronomers
in New York, Sugerman does very little of his observing in
the city due to the poor conditions. The majority of his time
is spent analyzing data he collects in observatories around
the world.
