The Queensboro Bridge is one of three links to Roosevelt Island. The Q line subway (or B line on weekends) stops on Roosevelt Island, too. The tram is a third option for travelers.

The Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation lights up the Smallpox Hospital landmark every night. This is the view from 55th street and Sutton Place. The building is clearly visible from the FDR Drive, south of Queensboro Bridge.
