What is so remarkable about these dogs? Meet four of them and see how they live...

They’re busy, they’re happy, they think their mothers and fathers are masters of the universe. Their love is unconditional and their loyalty to loved ones is everlasting. They demand affection and are often credited with having a sixth sense – an innate ability to discern good people from evil people.

Some look sweet and some look scary. Some are adorable and cuddly and others are pitiful and scraggly. Despite their differences, most dogs living on the Upper East Side receive unmistakably exceptional care. They are doted upon. They are treated like children — spoiled children.

Meet Stanley, Jax, Harald and Jasper. They travel. They socialize. They even take time to smell the flowers.

Doggie Day Care

Doggie gyms and day-care centers like the New York City Spa & Hotel have solved the problem of latchkey canines for many dog owners.

What do they do at one of these gyms?

At the Biscuits & Bath Doggy Gym, dogs of all shapes and sizes can spend their days romping with pals on a bright green astro-turf running track. Employees toss around tennis balls and the dogs will run back and forth, getting sufficiently tuckered out. After lunch and a quick spin around the block to do their business, it’s naptime (if they so desire). Otherwise, it’s back to frolicking with friends.

The daycare is open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pick-ups and drop-off are also available for Upper East Side clients for an extra charge, and late-night pick-ups are also available for a fee.

Grooming at a second location, the Biscuits & Bath Salon is also available.

There, owners can purchase pricey, but priceless items like specially made futons and a variety of leashes, collars, sweaters and jackets. (CLICK HERE FOR MORE SHOPPING).

The New York Dog Spa & Hotel is 8,500 square feet of all dog heaven. It houses a massage parlor, salon, play area, overnight sleeping quarters and bath area. In addition, it also offers clothes, food, bedding and pottery for dogs.
